256: Of Diapers

All new mommies in Hospital Ampang were 'rewarded' with this "New Mom Bag" for our biggest achievement in life! Battling with labour pain and for all the hard works in labour room, struggling to deliver and bringing our little ones into this life.
A lady sharing the same ward with me received two bags for she has given birth to a twins! So cute her babies..bila sorang nangis, sorang lagi akan nangis...sorang senyap, imediately yang sorang lagi pun diam..memang ada strong bonding baby twins ni kan? :) 

Okay, back to the "New Mom Bag" topic. In fact..I just opened the bag. Serious, dah habis pantang, dah nak masuk kerja baru perasan beg yang tersembunyi di balik timbunan bantal2 emir ni:p

 The contents of this bag are: 

-4 pcs of Petpet newborn diapers

-2 pcs of MamyPoko newborn diapers

-Johnson's baby body wash, lotion and powder

Alamak, newborn diapers ni kena cepat2 guna sebab baby sampai 5kg je boleh pakai saiz 'Newborn'. Emir was 4.1kg during his last month checkup. Even the 'S' size diapers that he's wearing now is a bit tight on the thigh (tapi itu brand Whoopee, Drypers and Petpet fit him just nicely).

Up till today, we've been trying all these diapers; Drypers, Pureen, Baby Dry-Pro, Whoopee and Petpet.

Of all those brands, I am most satisfied with Drypers. The material is soft and Emir's poo-poo never leak through the side or at the back. The brand that I will never consider of buying again melainkan sangat2 terdesak is Whoopee. During the maternity expo held in KLCC early this year, I saw many bought this diapers. Ada yang beli sampai berpek-pek. So, when we went to Jusco last weekend to buy some Emir's stuff, we gave it a try to this brand since the price is quite low during the promotion period.

But due to it's kind of  'super' soft material, I need to change quite frequent because it will get wet quickly and bila nak change diaper, poo-poo emir tu melekat-lekat kat montot dia. Kena guna banyak wet wipes. Tapi bila guna Drypers or Pet Pet, no such problem.

We haven't run out of diapers now. Maybe by end of next month, baru renew stock. Emir nak try pakai brand apa pulak? :)

p/s: I must be getting too excited of becoming new mom..topik blog pun dah gaya mak-mak. Haih, diapers pun boleh jadi bahan kan? :P
