It's already Ramadan and yet I haven't even write how's emir's aqiqah went off on last May 2013, though I was very very ambitious and super exicted to write about it after the day the event took place, I am still defeated by my own laziness in the end. Gosh, i really need a momentum to start blogging again!
Well for now,
Before I'm losing interest to write again, this is a recap of our Anniversary lunch treat which was also a 'postponed' event due to the loss of my husband's family member (arwah Mak Long) on 25 June 2013, a day before our Anniversary date. Few weeks after, followed by beloved late Mak Teh on 12 July 2013.

Sekarang ni macam-macam iklan raya ada di kaca TV. Kalau dulu, iklan yang paling dinanti-nanti mestilah iklan Petronas. Sebab? ada jalan cerita yang best, sinematografi cantik, dan selalunya berjaya membuatkan hati dan jiwa terkesan dengan mesej yang nak disampaikan.Pendek kata, memang ada kualiti!
Tapi iklan raya tahun ni, saya memang terharu sangat2 dengan iklan raya BERNAS. Dahla pertama kali tengok iklan tu di ofis..memang mengundang airmata, sebak tak terkata. Berkaca-kaca mata sambil menonton iklan di youtube.Tapi takat berkaca jelah. Tahan supaya jangan tumpah. Mana taknya, bos kat depan mata, rakan-rakan sebelah menyebelah pun ada..Silap-silap colleagues pun boleh perasan saya sedang menangis.
Sewaktu menonton pertama kali, saya mute kan sound sebab tanak mengganggu suasana bekerja ketika itu (ok, kantoi curi-curi tengok youtube pada waktu kerja) :p. Faham jalan cerita keseluruhan iklan sebab ada subtitle English. Masa tu memang tak perasan yang kanak-kanak seorang lagi itu pun agak tidak normal (yang seorang lagi anak yatim cacat penglihatan). Bila tonton dan dengar semula, Allah..makin meruntun jiwa. Kasihan mereka. Huhu...hmm, tak perlulah describe panjang lebar lagi. Rasanya semua dah tahu tentang iklan Bernas ni. Menjadi buah mulut ramai kot..
Selain iklan Bernas, ada juga iklan-iklan lain sempena Aidilfitri ni. Kalau belum tonton, boleh la klik di bawah ni..Lihat dan selami..Lepas tu rasa-rasanya iklan mana yang paling anda suka? Tepuk dada tanya selera :)
Raya is just around the corner. So, here I am, grabbing this chance to asking for apologize for any wrongs I've done. For any words that are not supposed to be uttered. For any misbehave that might hurt someone. For any writings that you may not like..Maaf Zahir Batin jika ada tersinggung dengan kata mahupun perbuatan. Salah harap diampun, jangan simpan dalam hati okay :)
So, how's Raya preparation?
Are they all done? For us, this is the first time of celebrating Eid with our little baby..Excited much! Especially on preparing his raya clothes. Since Emir is still a bit too small to fit any 'Baju Melayu', we bought three pieces of overall for him.haha,overalls back in town!! They are too cute, I can't resist. Two of them, blue and red OshKosh overall were bought online from the famous baby website BBluvsme and the other checkered blue was bought at Mothercare, Alamanda yesterday.
Other than that, I bought together a set of five Carters Wiggle in Bodysuits as the inner shirt for the overalls. But, of course those onesies is again are sooo adorable that I've already let Emir wear one during our Iftar at TokWan's house last Saturday. Here going bananas!!=D
Mama and ayah both are all excited about Emir's first raya celebration that we don't care much to find a new cloth for ourselves. Yeah, my last year Kurung Pahang is still looks like a brand new..I think I'm gonna wear it again for this Eid.
But there was a surprise yesterday..People say good things always come when they are least expected. And guess what is it? An advance Birthday present from hubby!Yeayy!! and that piece is inside the big paper bag he's carrying.

A raya handbag for me!! Thank you so much, I love you <---(ayat standard bila sang suami bagi hadiah kat si isteri) :p Tak kisah la how cliche it may sounds, the truth is I am soo loving you hubby even without the sembonia latest collection handbag for my birthday. Hehe :p
Last but not least..Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslimin and Muslimat. These last few days, hopefully we could perform ibadah more than usual. Together we seek for Allah's mercy and forgiveness and make lots of dua especially in seeking the most awaited night in Ramadhan, Lailatul Qadr :)

Being a new mom somehow has
restricted me from having iftar with my fellow colleagues or friends just like
the old days. But that doesn't mean that I am upset about it. No. Indeed, I'm
more than happy to have iftar at home. More quiet and less hassle despite that
we have to take turn to eat to 'entertain' our little Emir. (Jangan kata makan,
nak solat pun dah tak boleh nak Jemaah) Only once or twice, we could sit on the
dining table together, enjoying our meal without Emir interrupting us. A
fortunate event I would say..haha..
This Ramadhan brings it’s own story, which for me is quite a tough one. First, because Emir is on
breastfeed, I would quickly feel dehydrated during the day after each
pumping session. Nasib baik duduk dalam ofis je..air-cond ^__^ Believe it or not by
noon, I've started counting on how many hours left to 'berbuka', because of
feeling thirsty not really of hungry.
Secondly, because of a bulk of
sleeping hours being taken away from my sleeping chart, replaced with the new
task to feed my little one, I would easily feel tired. Haih, how I miss that
moment when I was still get the chance to have a good, quality night
sleep..wuuwuuwuu T__T
On top of that, we have started
sending Emir to nursery on the 4th of Ramadhan. So, I have to make sure his
nursery's bag, his EBM stocks are all ready before I went off to sleep every
midnight or most of the time is pass midnight. So when we get up for suhoor at
5am, there’s no chance of going back to sleep (macam dulu-dulu :p). My sleeping
hours now is averagely 3hrs only..Oh my!
And because of Emir is still
2 months old++, we are still adjusting ourselves in parenthood. Sometimes it is
so heartbreaking when Emir is crying and we don’t know what is wrong but to let
him just cry T___T After he cried his heart out, he'll sleep better though..sleeping much longer, penat exercise suara jerit2 beforehand

Eh, how come this become so out of
topic nih? I wanted to write about Buffet Ramadhan at Taman Ekustrian Putrajaya
right? Doesn’t the title is saying so?
Here is the point of this post ..If by any chance you are still looking for a good place to have your Iftar with family or friends, be it a reunion or a small gathering, please consider this place in your list: Mangiamo Cafe, Taman Ekuestrian Putrajaya. Highly recommended for the food and facilities.

going there again on this coming Sunday (The only buffet Ramadhan for me this
year) Hoping for Emir to behave and be a
good boy throughout the makan2 time. Hehe..
p/s: Eh, siapa gadis yang tengah amik makanan kat tengah2 poster ni. Nampak
macam familiar je.haha..
These ladies next to me are my girlfriends who lives all the happy moments, sweet and sour, ups and downs towards and after the design crit sessions, WAY back then when we once called an architecture student in Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED) , UIA Gombak. Yep we're the fourth batch in this kulliyyah. Ahhh..those moments:)
Now, they are constantly juggling between commitment to works and families, stand over the long hours spending 'after-work-precious-time' (note that those precious time are supposedly belongs to their sweethearts who waiting for them at home) in the office, but somehow, eventually, made it to our iftar gathering this time at Qasar Saba Restaurant for our crave of Lamb Mandy! Thank you lovelies for coming..on top of all, thanks to Dot for the idea and start spreading the invitation in our FB inbox ;)
If Qasar Saba Restaurant is new for you, just to share that..it is a Yemeni Arabic food restaurant located in (not so) new shop lots behind Ong Tai Kim, Jalan Gombak. I think most of UIA students are very well versed of this area. To some of the UIA campus residents, this is one of the place where most of the students came to shop for foods, biscuits, maggi, milo, nescafe and such, stock up for few months.
To us, this is the place where we came all the way from UIA Gombak to send our dirty clothes to the laundry. Well, being students, you know how lazy we are to do the laundry ourselves when most of the time we have to be in the studio, dying to complete all the never-ending works and chased by the deadlines!
Talk about the past no more, here is the food that we had for the iftar: Lamb mandy (RM 19), Mullawah bread, Chicken Sheeh Tawouk (RM 15), Strawberry juice (RM8).
Those little cuties are Faiz and Aza's darlings. Pelangi Irdina and Afif. Afif was crying because he didn't want to go home while Pelangi was trying to calm him down.. :p

The ladies who were trying out hard to make it but couldn't come at the end were Afzan (due to the very last minute thing came up), kak Herna (for rushing works in the office), kak Ayu (couldn't make it as her son cought a fever on that very day..haish, what to do -_-), kak Jenny ( who is forever in Kelantan, if I were her, I won't be coming too :p), Rin and Kak Bulan (I belive they have their own reason) and last but not least kak Imm (who are still in her confinement at Alor Setar until Eid).
Special thanks to this only man, Ijat, who came a bit later then. Without him we might not be having this great picture.

I couldn't stop uploading for more food, gushing over what did I cook for our Iftar.
I couldn't think off any better things to write at this moment. I'm sorry if the same food stuff entries again in my blog doesn't catch your interest. But as far as I realized, cooking made me happy, and I love experimenting with new recipe (although most of the time it is not new recipe for the world but it is for me) :p
The second day for Iftar, we had this on our dinner table: Chicken chop with blackpepper gravy, homemade mashed potaotes and coleslow served with asparagus. Wholesome meal for two!

How's your day first in Ramadan? Alhamdulillah, I wish all of us will be blessed with Barakah and may Allah accept all our deeds throughout 30 days of this holy month.
For us (wife), let's gain more 'pahala' by preparing good food for iftar. Have you figure out what to be served for today? This is what I had in my mind right now. A simple and quickest meal to cook yet highly nutritious to help our body regain back energy that we might have lost during the day. (As this is also Ezal's favourite, it's kind of rewarding him for his first day fasting :p)

Iftar gathering bersama² ex-Kusessian'99 berjaya disempurnakan pada tanggal 06.09.09 dengan kehadiran yg boleh kata---> menggalakkan..Venue masih same seperti tahun sudah..bertempat di Taman Ekuestrian Putrajaya (TEP), Precint 5. Berdasarkan pengalaman tahun lepas.tempat ni mmg convenience.tak sesak sgt..tempat solat pun besar..jojot plak cadangkan tempat ni dan takde bangkangan serta usul lain..jadi taky perlu peningkan kepala..proceed aje =)
Kali ni makin ramai yg datang dah pun bertukar status...dari 'single-is-simple' ke status 'berdua-lebih-baik' :p. Pastu yg 'berdua-lebih-baik' plak dah naik pangkat jadi 'ibu-ibu' dan 'bapak-bapak'..Hoho..tahniah².Tambah meriah dengan keletah si kecik yang comey² tu.. (baby Maahad, Hanan dan Madey)..
Mengikut jadual seperti yg dicadangkan oleh saudara Jojot di dalam Group, jam 6 adalah waktu berkumpul di sekitar TEP.Seawal pukul 5.45, dah ade yg sampai..(that was me :p )..Tapi ezal lagi awal la..heh, dah memang ofis dia kat situ. Ha..ramai bukan? Ooo..tapi ni bukan lah semua yg dtg..Masih lagi menunggu ketibaan para rakan yg masing² tengah On-the-way..(ade jugak yg sesat tu..huuhu) Aiseh..x nmpk plak muke Maahad jr (Raziq). Baby Maahad ni mmg seiras- saling tak tumpah muka dia--->muke Photostat :p Hanan-Azlan and son..hihi, cam name company plak. (tak ingat la ape name baby hanan ni..huhu)..Dan ini pula..gadis²..(kalian perasan bajuku dan baju elle yang hampir serupa..dah mcm usherer plak..jadi penyambut tetamu..^_^)
Makanan yg penuh satu pinggan tu ezal punye :P Jom check ape yg dia makan tuuuu hmm..murtabak, roti boom (makanan wajib), beriyani kambing, ayam goreng, black pepper beef..lagi..fuh, kerabu mangga, tahu sumbat, keropok, buah-buahan semangkuk..air tiga gelas..milo ais, the tarik, rose berry…errr… tak sangke ezal mkn semua nih..(aaaa…jgn cubit saye :p)
Kalau Madey dgn anak 'gadis' yg comey..Hanan plak dengan anak 'teruna' yg hencem..(nak cubit pipi boley? ) :D
